Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Food Clerk to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain fresh, well-displayed products across multiple departments. You will engage with customers, share knowledge, and ensure our stores look appealing and are stocked accurately.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety procedures, and willingness to perform physical tasks in a fast-paced retail environment. Prior retail or food service experience is helpful, but not required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, well-run store experience in Fresh departments.
• Build positive connections with customers and teammates.
• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need.
• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards.
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Work across Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
• Support other tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
