Responsibilities

• Exhibit and develop maximum customer relations through friendly and courteous behavior
• Promote a high level of morale within department and store through honest, open communication
• Maintain good working relationships with other department managers to improve sales storewide
• Work collaboratively with team members to support store objectives
• Comply with all company policies and the Code of Conduct
• Assist in maintaining freshness, dating, labeling, and merchandising per policies and governmental guidelines
• Identify quality of meat products and differentiate types and cuts by appearance
• Assist in pricing, rotation, and merchandising of department items
• Monitor competitive activity within the store's area
• Pull outdated items, rewrap or relabel as needed
• Inform customers about current sale prices and locations of products, and answer inquiries promptly
