The Kroger Naperville location is seeking general production help in the Meat Department. You will respond to customer needs, learn department procedures, and keep temperature logs up to date while assisting with equipment operation and safe practices.

Qualifications

• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to read shelf tags, signs, and product labels.
• Must work safely with cleaning solutions and operate equipment.
• Able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
• Meat work experience or similar experience in food preparation.
• Dependability and integrity in past work records.
• Knowledge of employment safety and food handling regulations.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer needs.
• Train and follow up with Meat Department associates on temperature logs.
• Keep department temperature logs accurately updated and maintained.
• Be personable, neat, and cheerful.
• May operate light power equipment.
• Learn procedures and methods of the meat department.

• Keep carts, tools, and supplies organized and floors clean.
