99 Ranch Market in Hackensack, NJ is seeking a Store Manager In Training (MIT) for the Meat Department. This full-time program offers training and progression toward a Meat Department Manager role within 3–5 months, based on performance and prior experience.

The MIT will manage product prep, display, inventory, ordering, and staff supervision, while ensuring safety, compliance, and customer service excellence in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• 1 year of supervisory experience in the meat department or equivalent.
• Bilingual in English/Mandarin, English/Cantonese, or English/Spanish preferred.
• Ability to work assigned schedules, including weekends and holidays.
• Food Handler’s certificate or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation of the Meat department, including prep, display, inventory, and process efficiency.
• Ensure department team delivers excellent customer service and handles issues promptly.
• Drive department sales to meet targets and manage costs and stock loss.
• Supervise, delegate, and train team members and coordinate with HR for actions.
