Job summary

Sam's Club is seeking a Meat Department Lead to drive sales and supervise hourly associates in the meat department at the Port Charlotte, FL location. You will model meat expertise and collaborate with other team leaders to meet member expectations.

You will leverage digital tools for forecasting and inventory, lead training, and ensure safety and compliance while delivering high-quality products.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience in a meat production department or 6 months experience supervising a team.
• Must be 18 years of age or older

Responsibilities

• Supervises the team within the meat department to deliver on the business plan and contribute to the overall success of the club by communicating the goals of the department executing company programs adhering to policies and being an advocate for the member the associate and the company.
• Be an Expert with indepth knowledge of business on the floor backroom operations product updates and product specifications ensuring the meat department meets company and regulatory standards for quality inventory production equipment usage safety sanitation and compliance training the team on item specifications and equipment and engaging with members to assist with protein selections.
