Sam’s Club is seeking a Meat Department Lead in Baltimore to drive sales and supervise hourly associates. You will model meat expertise, lead a team, and collaborate with fellow leaders to meet member expectations.

You will leverage digital tools for forecasting, production planning, and maintaining quality and compliance. The role emphasizes training, safety, and positive member experiences.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience in a meat production department or 6 months experience supervising a team.
• Must acknowledge completion of trainings within prescribed time if chosen for the position.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Meat processing experience including boneless and bone-in products is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the meat department team to deliver on the business plan and meet members’ expectations.
• Use digital tools to forecast, plan production, and manage inventory and quality.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and safe work area and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Train, mentor, and develop team members and assist in hiring new talent as needed.
• Collaborate with other team leaders to achieve overall club goals.
