Job summary

The GIANT Company in Shillington, PA is seeking a team member to assist in receiving, inventory, pricing, stocking, and rotating products while upholding food safety standards in meat areas.

You will provide friendly customer service, share product knowledge, and help maintain sanitation. Shift lengths start at 4 hours, and you must be able to work in a cold environment; teamwork and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Able to read, communicate, and understand company policies and safety regulations to complete job duties.
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must be able to use or learn to use equipment and tools required for the job.
• Must be able to work in a cold environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive deliveries, break down loads, and rotate cooler.
• Weigh, price, and label.
• Stock cases and select product.
• Prepare valued-added products.
• Provide exemplary customer service.
• Develop product knowledge and upsell.
• Maintain sanitation and food safety standards.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
• Process cuts for service counter or special orders.
• Set service case.
