Job summary

Coborn’s, Inc. is seeking a Meat Department Assistant Manager in Fargo to support the Meat Department Manager in all facets of operations. You will prepare products for sale, code and rotate stock, and remove out-of-code items while ensuring accurate records and strong customer service.

You will also direct staff when needed, oversee workload, coach and train employees, and participate in performance evaluations and supervision to uphold Coborn’s standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Assist Meat Department Manager in all aspects of department operations.
• Prepare products for sale and ensure freshness by coding, rotating, or culling products.
• Remove out‑of‑code merchandise and maintain accurate records.
• Provide customer service and contribute to employee relations, expense control, and inventory management.
• Direct staff when in charge of the department, including workload, coaching, training, performance evaluations, and supervision.
