Job summary

You will greet customers, handle cash register operations as needed, maintain clean displays, monitor temperatures, and support colleagues in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Willing to work weekends and holidays.
• Effective written and verbal communication with customers and associates.
• Able to read shelf tags, signs, product labels, training materials, and bulletins.
• Ability to multitask, set priorities, present information in a professional manner and work with all levels of the organization.

• Must be able to work with various cleaning solutions, safely use sharp tools, and carefully operate all production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Wait on customers and greet them with good quality food.
• Be prompt, tactful, calm, courteous, and professional in all interactions.
• Communicate with customers and associates.
• Make clean, neat, and friendly impression on customers.
• Unload and store merchandise, prepare and display foods per standards, recipes, and policies.
• Perform required temperature monitoring.
• Monitor product quality; ensure freshness and safety.
• Keep sales areas, backrooms, and coolers clean and organized.
• Keep floors clean, safe, and free from clutter.
• Wash and sanitize cookware and utensils per policies.
• Maintain signage, product rotation, freshness, quantity, and space for merchandise.
• Maintain equipment and facilities safely per policies.
• Adhere to company policies and laws.
• Operate cash register per procedures.
• Work cooperatively in a high paced and sometimes stressful environment.
• Manage conflict in a mature, nonconfrontational manner.
• Follow directions and seek help to resolve issues.
• Provide support via direct interaction with minors, individuals with special needs, and/or older adults.
