Job summary

PAQ, Inc. is seeking a Meat Clerk to provide prompt, courteous service in our Manteca store. You will assist customers, help with meat selection, and ensure accurate weighing and pricing. This full-time, on-site role involves standing for long periods and may require evenings and weekends.

You’ll prepare ground meat, package and label products, and keep the meat case clean and organized. The position also includes stocking, rotating stock for freshness, and supporting inventory counts.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of meat products and cuts.
• Familiarity with retail stocking procedures and inventory management.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food handling.

Responsibilities
