Job summary

The GIANT Company is seeking a team member for the Rising Sun, MD store to support meat department duties and help customers. You will assist in receiving, stocking, pricing, labeling, and rotating products while maintaining high safety and sanitation standards.

You will work with teams to provide valued customer service, manage product knowledge, and ensure accurate setup of service cases. This role involves physical tasks, cold environments, and shift flexibility to meet store needs.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to read, communicate, and understand company policies and safety regulations in order to complete job duties in a satisfactory manner.
• Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements, as well as the physical base scores for this position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform this job.
• Must be able to work in a cold environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive deliveries, breakdown loads, and rotate cooler.
• Weigh, price, and label.
• Stock cases and selecting product.
• Prepare valued-added products.
• Provide exemplary customer service.
• Product knowledge and suggestive selling.
• Responsible for sanitation and food safety standards.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
• Process cuts for service counter or special orders.
• Set service case.
