Job summary

Walmart Sam’s Club Amarillo is seeking a Meat Department Lead to supervise the meat team, drive sales, and ensure high-quality products for members. You will model meat expertise, coordinate with other leaders, and uphold safety, sanitation, and compliance standards in a fast-paced department.

You’ll leverage handheld technology and forecasting tools to plan production, manage inventory, and schedule staffing while delivering exceptional member experiences.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience in a meat production department or 6 months experience supervising a team.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Lead the meat department team to meet business goals and maintain standards.
• Ensure quality, inventory, safety, and regulatory compliance in the department.
• Coach and train team members and drive sales while delivering member satisfaction.
• Utilize digital tools to forecast, plan, and optimize production and staff.
