Qualifications

• Customer service experience is required.
• Experience with a variety of cooking techniques is preferred.
• Experience working in a butcher shop is preferred.
• Managerial/supervisory experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of different cuts of meat and poultry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Possess an understanding of the products offered in the department.
• Maintain appearance of the department, ensure fresh product and levels are sustained, and stock items in correct locations with eye-appealing displays.
• Proactively assist customers, help them locate products, provide meal solutions, and answer questions about products.
• Understand product appearance and quality, use core recipes and techniques to ensure a consistent outcome.
• Assist in ordering and inventory processes, using ordering guides to control inventory and shrink.
