Job summary

The GIANT Company in Bartonsville, PA is seeking team members to assist in product receiving, inventory and storage, price labeling, stock rotation, and to maintain safety and sanitation standards in all meat product areas.

You will help customers, provide knowledge on product selection, and process service counter orders while ensuring accurate pricing and display. You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a cold environment.

• Must be able to read, communicate, and understand company policies and safety regulations in order to complete job duties in a satisfactory manner.
• Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements, as well as the physical base scores for this position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Receive deliveries, breakdown loads, and rotate cooler.
• Weigh, price, and label.
• Stock cases and selecting product.
• Prepare valued-added products.
• Provide exemplary customer service.
• Product knowledge and suggestive selling.
• Responsible for sanitation and food safety standards.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
• Process cuts for service counter or special orders.
• Set service case.
