• Experience in grocery retail and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Wait on customers and greet them cheerfully, providing good quality food.
• Be prompt, tactful, calm, courteous, and professional in all interactions.
• Must communicate effectively with customers and associates.
• Make clean, neat, and friendly impression on customers.
• Unload and store merchandise, and prepare/display foods per policies.
• Perform required temperature monitoring and ensure freshness and safety.
• Monitor product quality and keep areas clean and organized.
• Maintain signage, rotation, and space allocation for merchandise.
• Operate cash register per procedures where applicable.
• Work cooperatively in a high-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
• Resolve customer and business issues with integrity and discretion.
