Job summary

Kroger in Sugar Hill, GA is hiring for a Store Associate in the Meat department. You will perform general clean-up, stock work, greet customers, and provide friendly, accurate service while upholding Kroger’s core values.

You must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, follow safety and health policies, operate the cash register as applicable, and maintain merchandise, signage, and product rotation. Weekend availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Wait on customers and counter promptly and cheerfully.
• Greet customers and provide high-quality food.

• Unload and store merchandise; prepare and display foods per standards.
• Perform required temperature monitoring.
• Monitor product quality; keep it fresh and safe.
• Keep sales areas, backrooms, and coolers clean and organized.
• Keep floors clean and free of clutter.
• Wash and sanitize cookware and utensils per policies.
• Maintain signage, rotation, freshness, quantity, and space for merchandise.
• Maintain equipment and facilities safely per policies.
• Adhere to company policies, and state and federal laws.
• Operate cash register as applicable.
• Work cooperatively in high-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
