Job summary

Sam's Club, a Walmart subsidiary, is seeking a Meat Team Member to join the front lines of customer service in our Ontario, CA location. You will assist members with meat selection, preparation, and display, while upholding product quality and safety standards.

You will collaborate with teammates, leverage handheld tools for quick decisions, and help manage inventory and price labeling. This role emphasizes service, efficiency, and pride in delivering high-quality meat products.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Be a Team Member: Collaborates with other associates to build a strong meat team; communicating with the team; and being flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas.
• Be an Expert: Knowledge of floor operations, product safety standards, sanitation guidelines, inventory management, and meat preparation per standards; cutting, wrapping, and maintaining quality.
• Be a Techie: Uses handheld devices to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and support associate engagement.
• Be an Owner: Maintains work area per policies; ensures packaging, labeling, and storage meet company standards; protects high-shrink items.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Represents the department with high service quality and energy.
