Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirements apply.

• Previous meat associate or meat-cutting experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all company policies and government regulations.
• Meet or exceed Management Planning guidelines after training.
• Develop product knowledge in all meat department areas.
• Make price changes and maintain price books and scales as directed.
• Assist in special projects and perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Assist in training other associates as Level 2 trainer.
• Maintain neat personal appearance and comply with appearance policy.
• Maintain communication within department and organization.
• Support safety standards and report needed repairs or maintenance.
• Observe sanitation and food safety standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
