Redner's Markets, Inc. is seeking a Meat Cutter to join the Meat department in Allentown, PA. You will cut, trim, and prepare various cuts of beef, pork, poultry, and lamb to meet customer needs and business needs.

The role requires at least one year of experience as a meat wrapper, dexterity for cutting and trimming, and the ability to lift up to 70 pounds. Superior customer service and adherence to safety guidelines are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write to properly tag product.
• Dexterity in hands to enable cutting and trimming of meats.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds regularly.
• At least one year of experience as a meat wrapper.
• Must be able to stand upright for most of your scheduled work shift.

Responsibilities

• Cut, trim, and grind all meat as directed by company standards.
• Display product on meat trays to enhance eye appeal for customers.
• Maintain neat, clean, and sanitary work, display, and storage areas.
• Communicate temperature failure of cases and storage areas to the manager in charge.
• Maintain good customer service relations by providing prompt and courteous service.
• Observe policies and procedures established by the department.
• Observe all local, state, and federal health weights and measures laws.
• Abide by all company policies stated in the Employee Handbook.
• Assist in wrapping and packaging of product when needed.
• Receive, weigh, and breakdown meats and related products.
• Maintain operating equipment and follow OSHA regulations.
