The Fresh Market is seeking a Meat Cutter in New Jersey to expertly cut and trim meat and seafood, while supporting inventory and price integrity. You’ll help deliver an impeccable guest and team experience, across departments, with attention to detail and speed.

This position requires 2+ years of meat cutting experience, the ability to work weekends and holidays, and certification within 90 days of hire. Competitive hourly pay and benefits package offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in cutting meat.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Meat cutters must be certified within The Fresh Market’s internal training platform within 90 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Maintain knowledge of products and weekly ad items; assist guests storewide.
• Handle, slice, cut, and trim prime and premium meat and seafood products.
• Monitor temperatures of cases, spillovers, and storage areas.
• Ensure safety and adherence to receiving, stocking, and unloading protocols for freshness.
