Meat Cutter - Part Time - Findlay - Broad Ave

Job Description

1. Ensure all products are properly prepared (cutting and trimming), handled, wrapped, and merchandised.
2. Receive and inspect all meat deliveries for quality, correct quantities, and weights.
3. Assist in planning special promotions and displays.
4. Manage signage, correct weights (tare and packaging), and pricing.
5. Rotate merchandise according to code dating policy.
6. Keep the meat department stocked and organized.
7. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of fixtures, equipment, and work area, ensuring safety at all times.
8. Handle store property and equipment responsibly to maximize usage.
9. Perform freshness checks and recondition products as needed.
10. Maintain high product knowledge and merchandising skills to meet department goals.
11. Provide courteous and friendly customer service.
12. Keep records as required.
13. Order meat products as needed.
14. Operate equipment such as saws, cubers, slicers, scales, grinders, and labeling machines.
15. Assist customers and staff as needed.
16. Prepare, weigh, package, price, and rotate stock to maximize profits.
17. Perform cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and sanitation.
18. Operate telephones and intercoms professionally.
19. Follow all company policies outlined in the employee handbook.
20. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
