Job summary

PCC Community Markets in Issaquah, WA is seeking a Meat Cutter to cut, prepare and handle all meat and seafood in line with PCC standards. You will provide excellent, professional customer service and help maintain department standards.

Responsibilities include receiving product, stocking, merchandising, and ensuring cleanliness and safety. Must be licensed, able to lift up to 60 lbs, and able to travel to multiple PCC locations.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a meat cutter at all PCC locations.
• Must be able to travel to multiple store locations.
• Must be able to meet physical demands including standing, bending, lifting up to 60 lbs.

Main Job Responsibilities

Qualifications And Skills

• Proven ability to provide excellent, professional customer service
• Must be available to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends, and be able to travel to multiple store locations
• It is a requirement at all PCC locations that meat cutters are licensed.
• Willingness to work at all PCC locations
• Must have at least two years of experience working as a licensed, journey-level meat cutter
• Must be able to identify all cuts of meat, fish, and poultry
• Demonstrated skill in meat wrapping and handling
• Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
• Knowledge of natural and organic meats preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be able to meet physical demands, including standing, bending, twisting, repetitive motion, and lifting up to 60lbs regularly
• A current Food Worker Card from the Washington State Department of Health is required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
