Job summary

Lees Marketplace in Utah is seeking an experienced Meat Cutter to join our family-owned grocery team. You will cut, trim, portion, and price beef, pork, poultry, and seafood, while delivering friendly guest service and product knowledge.

You will keep displays fresh, follow FIFO, maintain sanitation, assist with receipts, train junior staff, and collaborate with the Meat Manager on promotions and inventory. Previous meat cutting and food safety knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years experience in meat cutting.
• Strong knowledge of meat products, processing techniques, and food safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled cutting, boning, trimming, grinding, and portioning of meats.
• Provide outstanding guest service with product knowledge and recommendations.
• Ensure proper meat display, rotation, and merchandising in the case.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in cutting areas and equipment.
• Assist with receiving and storing meat deliveries.
