Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a team member to assist with daily fresh meat cutting and order fulfillment in our Grand Rapids store. You will help write fresh meat orders, organize deliveries, and support inventory control while maintaining positive customer and team relationships.

The role emphasizes adherence to safety and sanitation procedures, experience with weights and measures, and ability to operate CAO and forklift equipment as needed. Prior packaging and presentation experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with weights and measure processes specific to meat processing.
• Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures.
• Experience in product presentation and packaging.
• Experience using Computer Assisted Ordering applications.
• Current hand jack/hi-lo forklift license.
• Experience with inventory control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in writing fresh meat orders.
• Organize and check in fresh meat deliveries.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers, team members and leadership.
