Job summary

Meijer Inc. in Bourbonnais, IL is seeking a team member to support the fresh meat department. You will assist in daily cutting of beef, pork, and grind and help prepare fresh meat orders to meet the advertised selections.

The role requires familiarity with meat weight/measure processes and adherence to safety and sanitation standards. A valid handjack/hilo license and inventory control experience are beneficial.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with weights and measures in meat processing.
• Ability to understand and follow safety and sanitation procedures.
• Experience in product presentation and packaging.
• Experience using Computer Assisted Ordering applications.
• Current handjack/hilo license.
• Experience with inventory control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the writing of fresh meat orders.
• Organizing and checking in fresh meat deliveries.
• Maintaining a positive working relationship with customers, team members and leadership.
