Meijer Inc. is seeking a team member to assist in daily cutting of fresh beef, pork, and grind, while following the production schedule for advertised cuts.

You will help write orders, organize deliveries, and maintain a positive relationship with customers and colleagues. Ideal candidates will be familiar with weights and measures in meat processing, follow safety and sanitation procedures, and have experience with product presentation and inventory controls.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with weights and measure processes specific to meat processing.
• Ability to understand and follow specific safety and sanitation procedures.
• Experience in product presentation and packaging.
• Experience using Computer Assisted Ordering applications.
• Current handjack/hilo license.
• Experience with inventory control procedures.

Responsabilités

• Assist in the daily cutting of fresh beef, pork, and grind.
• Follow production schedule to meet requirements for advertised fresh meat cuts.
• Write fresh meat orders and organize deliveries.
• Maintain positive working relationships with customers, team members and leadership.
