Job summary

Meijer Inc. in Ohio is seeking a Meat Department Associate to support daily cutting of fresh beef, pork and grind and to follow the production schedule for advertised cuts.

You will assist in writing meat orders, organize deliveries, and maintain positive relationships with customers, team members and leadership. The role requires familiarity with weights and measures, safety and sanitation, packaging, and inventory control, plus a current handjack/hilo license.

Qualifications

• Familiar with weights and measures in meat processing.
• Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures.
• Experience in product presentation and packaging.
• Experience using Computer Assisted Ordering applications.
• Current handjack/hilo license.
• Experience with inventory control procedures.

Responsibilities
