Responsibilities

• Perform meat preparation tasks: cutting, grinding, slicing, packaging, dating and labeling.
• Keep department temperature logs updated and maintained.
• Stock and display meat items safely and rotate stock.
• Ensure cleanliness of sales areas, backrooms, and coolers.
• Communicate effectively with customers and associates.
• Unload trucks and sort orders for proper cooler placement.
• Wash and sanitize equipment per policies.
• Provide friendly customer service and greet customers promptly.
• Increase store sales in coordination with marketing programs.
• Maintain professional conduct and adhere to policies on harassment and discrimination.
