Meijer Inc. in Illinois is seeking help in daily cutting of fresh beef, pork, and grind while following the production schedule for advertised cuts.

The role supports writing fresh meat orders, organizing deliveries, and maintaining positive relations with customers and team members. The position requires familiarity with weights/measures in meat processing, adherence to safety and sanitation procedures, packaging experience, and a current handjack/hilo license.

This position assists in the daily cutting of fresh beef, pork, and grind. The individual also follows the production schedule to meet requirements for advertised fresh meat cuts.

What You’ll be Doing:

• Assisting in the writing of fresh meat orders.
• Organizing and checking in fresh meat deliveries.
• Maintaining a positive working relationship with customers, team members and leadership.

What You Bring With You (Qualifications):

• Familiarity with weights and measure processes specific to meat processing.
• Ability to understand and follow specific safety and sanitation procedures.
• Experience in product presentation and packaging.
• Experience using Computer Assisted Ordering applications.
• Current handjack/hilo license.
• Experience with inventory control procedures.

We are committed to offering competitive pay that reflects market standards and ensures consistency within our organization. This job has a step pay plan that generally starts between the rates below with raises occurring after predetermined hours worked. The actual rate offered will meet or surpass the legal wage requirement for the job's location.

$20.00 - $23.00
