Meijer Inc. in Columbus, OH, is seeking a Meat Cutter to assist in daily beef, pork, and grind preparation, and to follow the production schedule to meet fresh meat display needs.

You will write fresh meat orders, organize deliveries, maintain positive relationships with customers and team, and ensure safety, sanitation, and inventory controls. A valid handjack/hilo license and CAO experience preferred; Meijer Rewards and paid education assistance offered.

Formación

• Familiarity with weights and measures in meat processing.
• Ability to understand and follow specific safety and sanitation procedures.
• Experience in product presentation and packaging.
• Experience using Computer Assisted Ordering applications.
• Current handjack/hilo license.
• Experience with inventory control procedures.

This position assists in the daily cutting of fresh beef, pork, and grind. The individual also follows the production schedule to meet requirements for advertised fresh meat cuts.
