Key Responsibilities

As a Meat Cutter Apprentice, you will meet daily production needs and quality standards in meat cutting and preparation. You will display products in a fresh and appealing manner, process fresh and frozen products, package, prepare trays, weigh and label packages, rotate product, and remove out-of-code date products. You will sanitize work areas in accordance with company standards and health department regulations, and provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Minimum of 6 months experience in the meat department.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds and engage in continuous walking, standing, reaching, and bending.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
• Strong team player with a willingness and desire to learn, work hard, and enjoy the work.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
