What You'll Do

• Maintain a positive attitude by smiling, greeting, and thanking members
• Provide exceptional customer service to members across the club as needed, answering any questions they may have
• Maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready area
• Collaborate with other associates to build a strong meat team; be flexible to the needs of the business and work in other areas as required
• Demonstrate knowledge of business on the floor, backroom operations, product safety standards, sanitation guidelines, inventory management, and the operation, maintenance, and sanitization of equipment; prepare meat products according to established standards; cut boneless meat products; and maintain product quality standards
• Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use hand-held technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them
• Ensure commitment to operational excellence, maintain work area according to company policies and procedures, ensure quality and date control standards for meat products, secure fragile and high-shrink merchandise, eliminate waste, assist members with purchasing decisions, and ensure merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Act as an advocate for the department and the club by valuing the member's experience in the meat area and modeling high quality service and products; execute the basics at the highest possible level of quality; and exhibit energy, commitment, and passion for the work
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; use the Open Door Policy; and apply these in executing business processes and practices
• Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners; identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carry out tasks; communicate progress and information; determine and recommend ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapt to and learn from change, difficulties, and feedback

Your hourly wage range is $17.00 to $24.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
