Base Pay Range

What You’ll Do
- Collab with other associates to build a strong meat team; communicate with the team members and be flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas.
- Demonstrate knowledge of business on the floor, backroom operations, product safety standards, sanitation guidelines, inventory management, and the operation, maintenance, and sanitization of equipment; prepare meat products (cutting, grinding, wrapping, trimming) according to established standards; cut boneless meat products; maintain product quality standards.
- Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
- Ensure commitment to operational excellence, maintain work area according to company policies and procedures; ensure quality and date control standards for meat products; secure fragile and high‑shrink merchandise; eliminate waste; assist members with purchasing decisions; ensure merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Act as a department and club advocate by valuing the member’s experience in the meat area and modeling high‑quality service and products; execute the basics at the highest possible level of quality; exhibit energy, commitment, and passion for the work.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; use the Open Door Policy; apply these in executing business processes and practices.
- Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers, and other business partners; identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carry out tasks; communicate progress and information; determine and recommend ways to address improvement opportunities; adapt to and learn from change, difficulties, and feedback.

Education Benefit

Additional Compensation
Premiums may be paid for $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
