Job summary

Meijer Inc. in Wooster, OH is seeking a Meat Cutter to assist in the daily cutting of fresh beef, pork and grind and to follow the production schedule to meet advertised fresh meat cuts.

The role includes writing fresh meat orders, organizing and checking in deliveries and maintaining positive relationships with customers and team members while adhering to safety and sanitation procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience with weights and measures specific to meat processing.
• Ability to understand and follow safety and sanitation procedures.
• Experience in product presentation and packaging.
• Experience using Computer Assisted Ordering applications.
• Current handjack/hilo license.
• Experience with inventory control procedures.
