Position Overview

As a Meat Cutter, you will manage, cut, and trim meat and seafood according to standards and guest requests. Your responsibilities include inventory management, pricing, merchandising, and operational tasks requiring attention to detail. This fast-paced role demands efficiency, effectiveness, and a passion for excellence to deliver an exceptional guest and team experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Maintain knowledge of products and assist guests across departments.
2. Handle, slice, cut, and trim meat and seafood products, ensuring quality standards.
3. Monitor temperatures of cases and storage areas.
4. Ensure proper receiving, stocking, and unloading of deliveries.
5. Follow safety and food safety protocols per policies and law.

Qualifications

Certifications: Must be certified within 90 days of hire via The Fresh Market’s internal training platform.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience in meat cutting.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
