A leading company is seeking a dedicated Meat Cutter to join their team in Oregon. The role involves cutting and trimming meat, ensuring cleanliness, and providing excellent customer service. Candidates should be skilled in using tools and maintaining a sanitary working environment.
Cut and trim meat, poultry and fish to size for display or as ordered by customer using hand tools and power equipment. Operate grinder, meat slicer, cubing machine, and power saw. Clean and cut fish and poultry. Shape, lace, and tie meats cut by hand, using boning knife, skewer, and twine to form roasts. Place meat in containers to be wrapped. Place meat on trays in display counter. Clean work area. Unload meat from delivery truck and store meat into refrigerator. Wrap and weigh meat for customers. Operate sausage stuffer or smokehouse equipment. Work in refrigerate area.
