Carli C's IGA is seeking an experienced Meat Cutter to fill an immediate opening. Only candidates with prior experience in all cuts of beef, pork, and chicken in a grocery store meat market environment will be considered. The ideal candidate is proficient in using band saws, slicers, cubers, grinders, and knives to cut all types of meat. Wrapping skills, sanitation, and safety compliance are also required. This is a full-time position with optional benefits. The candidate must work 40 hours per week, including weekends and most holidays.

The Meat Cutter at Carlie C's IGA is expected to provide prompt and friendly customer service, being courteous and cooperative with customers and coworkers to maximize sales and build long-term business relationships.

Responsibilities

• Cutting, grinding, slicing, trimming, weighing, sealing, packaging, and labeling products.
• Unloading trucks, proper storage, checking product dates, and rotation.
• Sanitizing equipment and keeping the meat department clean.
• Assisting customers in finding products and providing timely, cheerful service.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 80 lbs without assistance.
• At least 18 years old, friendly, neat, and clean in appearance.
• Enjoy working with the public and customer-oriented.
• Ability to read shelf tags, labels, and signs.
• Good work record as a Meat Cutter.
