Job summary

Rosauers Supermarkets is seeking a skilled meat cutter to join our team in the Pacific Northwest. You will interact with customers, assist with meat selection, and prepare and package meats for sale in a fast-paced store setting.

We value detail, teamwork, and commitment to quality. You will work with an enthusiastic team in a friendly, customer-driven environment, with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older.
Knowledge of meat preparation techniques and cuts.
Maintain a current food worker card.
Ability to use hand tools, stand or walk for extended periods, lift heavy items, and work in cold environments.

Responsibilities

Greet and speak to customers, answer questions, help locate items, and provide recommendations.
Cut, trim, prepare, and package meats for sale.
Clean and maintain tools and equipment.
Ensure displays and signage are accurate and attractive.
Weigh, package, label, price, and display products.
Perform quality inspections on meats and other products.
Adhere to food safety and sanitation controls.
Unload deliveries or order pickups.
Cooperate with others to ensure customer satisfaction.
Perform other duties to ensure the overall success of our company.
