Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a friendly team member to perform general clean-up and stock work in the Meat department while delivering great customer service. You will greet customers, help with food displays, and uphold our core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.

Responsibilities include stocking, temperature checks, maintaining cleanliness, operating the cash register, and collaborating with coworkers in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Willing to work weekends and holidays.
• Able to read shelf tags, signs, product labels, training materials, and bulletins.
• Ability to multitask, set priorities, present information professionally, and work with all levels of the organization.
• Personal initiative and follow through to completion.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to work with various cleaning solutions, safely use sharp tools, and carefully operate all production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Wait on customers and greet them with good quality food.
• Be prompt, tactful, calm, courteous, and professional in interactions.
• Unload and store merchandise and display foods per standards.
• Perform temperature monitoring and ensure product freshness and safety.
• Keep sales areas, backrooms, and coolers clean and organized.
• Operate cash register according to procedures.
• Maintain signage, rotation, and space allocation for merchandise.
• Ensure equipment and facilities are safe and well-maintained.
