Job summary

Qualifications

• Willing and available to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Able to read shelf tags, signs, and product labels.
• Qualified to operate meat department equipment (wrapper, slicer, grinder, power saw, etc.).
• Must work safely with cleaning solutions.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain professional and courteous interactions with customers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and display merchandise in a neat, efficient, orderly manner.
• Check product quality; ensure freshness and proper rotation.
• Keep sales areas and backrooms clean and organized.
• Assist customers and fellow associates; respond to inquiries.
• Unload trucks and prepare merchandise for sale.
• Wash and sanitize equipment per policies.
• Adhere to dress code, sanitation, and safety policies.
• Perform any duties as assigned.
