Job summary

Tony's Fresh Market, LLC is seeking a Meat Clerk to work in a fast-paced meat department. You may work alone or with others in a cool/cold environment and will stock, wrap, and display products while assisting customers.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, operating department equipment, and maintaining cleanliness. Compensation ranges and store hours are noted in the posting.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Meat Clerks are responsible for working in a fast-paced multi-functional environment alone or with other people in a cool/cold environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist customers when applicable
• Must work quickly and carefully while stocking/wrapping items at a reasonable expectancy
• Handle various raw meat products to wrap, price, and stock into display cases
• Operate meat department equipment such as auto wrapper, scale, slicer, etc.
• Lift and load product weighing up to 50lbs
• Sweep, clean up, and sanitize work stations as assigned by Meat Staff leader
• Clean display cases and fill supplies when needed
• Other duties as assigned

Physical demands:

• Regularly required to stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk about the store.
• The work environment is typical of a retail store. The noise level ranges from quiet to loud.
• The store level varies from regular temperature to some cooler areas.
• Minimal sitting is required.

Store hours of operation: 7am-10pm 7 days a week
