The Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a Store Associate in Dickson, TN to perform general clean-up, stocking, and customer service in the Meat department. • Able to read shelf tags, signs, product labels, and training materials.

• Shows personal initiative and follow-through to completion.
• Team-oriented in a fast-paced environment; safety-conscious with cleaning and production equipment knowledge.
• Experience or familiarity with food handling, safety regulations and grocery retail operations.

Responsibilities

• Wait on customers promptly and cheerfully; greet customers and provide quality food.
• Be courteous, tactful, calm, and professional in all interactions.
• Communicate effectively with customers and associates.
• Maintain clean, neat, and friendly impressions for customers.
• Unload and store merchandise; prepare and display foods per standards.
• Perform temperature monitoring and ensure product quality and safety.
• Keep sales areas, backrooms, and coolers clean and organized; maintain floors.
• Wash and sanitize cookware and utensils as required.
• Maintain signage, rotation, freshness, quantity, and space for merchandise.
• Maintain equipment and facilities safely per policies.
• Follow all company policies and state/federal laws.
• Operate cash register per procedures and handle customer transactions.
