Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Food Clerk to deliver remarkable customer service in our Fresh departments. You will build positive connections with customers, share product knowledge, and help customers find what they need in a fast‑paced store.

You will stock, rotate, and merchandise displays, and follow safety standards while supporting multiple departments from Meat to Grocery. Prior retail experience helps, but is not required.

Qualifications

• Willingness to be physically active, including lifting and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise products according to standards.
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
