Job summary

Kroger in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, is seeking a Meat department team member to perform general clean-up, stock work, and provide friendly customer service while upholding our values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.

You will greet customers, monitor product quality, keep displays and backrooms organized, operate cash register where applicable, and work weekends and holidays in a fast-paced environment.

• Able to read shelf tags, signs, product labels, training materials, and bulletins.

• Keep sales areas, backrooms, and coolers clean and well organized.
• Keep floors clean, safe, and free from clutter.
• Wash and sanitize cookware and utensils in accordance with company and Health Department policies and procedures.
• Maintain proper signage, product rotation, freshness, quantity, quality and proper space allocation for merchandise.
• Maintain equipment and facilities properly and safely in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as State and Federal laws.
• Operate cash register in accordance with company procedures, as applicable.
• Ability to work cooperatively in high paced and sometimes stressful environment.
• Ability to manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational and cooperative manner.
• Ability to act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Ability to follow directions and seek assistance when necessary to resolve customer and business issues.
