MEAT/CLERK (Finance)

Minimum Requirements:
  • Willing to work weekends and holidays.
  • Demonstrates effective written and verbal communication skills that engage our customers and associates.
  • Able to read shelf tags, signs, product labels, training materials, and bulletins.
  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities, present information professionally, and work with all levels of the organization.
  • Personal initiative and follow-through to completion.
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to work with various cleaning solutions, safely use sharp tools, and operate all production equipment carefully.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Dependability and integrity reflected in past work records.
  • Previous experience in food preparation.
  • Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to employment practices, safety, and food handling.
  • Experience in grocery retail and customer service.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Promptly and cheerfully serve customers at the counter. Greet customers and provide quality food.
  • Be prompt, tactful, calm, courteous, and professional in all interactions.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and associates.
  • Make a clean, neat, and friendly impression on customers.
  • Unload and store merchandise, prepare and display foods according to standards, recipes, and policies.
  • Monitor temperatures and product quality to ensure freshness and safety.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of sales areas, backrooms, and coolers.
  • Keep floors clean, safe, and free of clutter.
  • Wash and sanitize cookware and utensils following company and health department policies.
  • Maintain proper signage, product rotation, and space allocation for merchandise.
  • Ensure equipment and facilities are maintained properly and safely.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
  • Operate cash register as per procedures.
  • Work cooperatively in high-paced, sometimes stressful environments.
  • Manage conflicts reasonably and cooperatively.
  • Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
  • Follow directions and seek assistance when needed to resolve issues.
  • Support interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
  • Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
