Job description

Perform general clean-up and stock work in the Meat department and provide customer service. Demonstrate the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety of others.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide quality food promptly and cheerfully.
• Be prompt, tactful, calm, courteous, and professional in all interactions.
• Communicate effectively with customers and associates.
• Make a clean, neat, and friendly impression on customers.
• Unload and store merchandise; prepare and display foods per company standards, recipes, and policies.
• Perform temperature monitoring and ensure product quality, freshness, and safety.
• Keep sales areas, backrooms, and coolers clean and organized.
• Maintain floors and equipment in a safe, clean, and clutter-free condition.
• Wash and sanitize cookware and utensils following company and health department policies.
• Maintain proper signage, product rotation, and space allocation.
• Operate equipment safely and maintain facilities according to policies.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and laws.
• Operate cash register as applicable.
• Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
