Perform general clean-up and stock work in the Meat department and provide customer service. Demonstrate the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Responsibilities

1. Wait on customers and counter promptly and cheerfully. Greet customers and provide them with good quality food.
2. Be prompt, tactful, calm, courteous, and professional in all interactions.
3. Communicate effectively with customers and associates.
4. Maintain a clean, neat, and friendly impression on customers.
5. Unload and store merchandise, prepare and display foods according to company standards, recipes, and policies.
6. Perform temperature monitoring and ensure product quality, freshness, and safety.
7. Keep sales areas, backrooms, and coolers clean and organized.
8. Ensure floors are clean, safe, and free from clutter.
9. Wash and sanitize cookware and utensils following company and health department policies.
10. Maintain proper signage, product rotation, and space allocation for merchandise.
11. Maintain equipment and facilities properly and safely.
12. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and legal regulations.
13. Operate cash register as per company procedures.
14. Work cooperatively in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
15. Manage conflict in a reasonable and cooperative manner.
16. Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
17. Follow directions and seek assistance when needed to resolve issues.
