Perform general clean-up and stock work in the Meat department and provide customer service. Demonstrate the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.
Responsibilities
- Wait on customers and counter promptly and cheerfully. Greet customers and provide them with quality food.
- Be prompt, tactful, calm, courteous, and professional in all interactions.
- Communicate effectively with customers and associates.
- Make a clean, neat, and friendly impression on customers.
- Unload and store merchandise, prepare and display foods according to company standards, recipes, and policies.
- Perform temperature monitoring as required.
- Monitor product quality to ensure freshness and safety.
- Keep sales areas, backrooms, and coolers clean and organized.
- Maintain floors to be clean, safe, and clutter-free.
- Wash and sanitize cookware and utensils following company and Health Department policies.
- Ensure proper signage, product rotation, freshness, quantity, quality, and space allocation for merchandise.
- Maintain equipment and facilities safely and properly according to policies.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
- Operate cash register as per company procedures, if applicable.
- Work cooperatively in a high-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
- Manage conflicts in a reasonable and cooperative manner.
- Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
- Follow directions and seek assistance to resolve issues.
- Support and assist with interactions involving minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
- Perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
Qualifications
