Job summary

Coborn's Incorporated is hiring a Meat Clerk II to provide meat preparation services and serve guests at the counter. You will stock cases, assist customers, and use meat operating tools as needed.

In Smokehouse stores, you’ll help the Smokehouse Manager create sausage and other products, ensure freshness, and engage guests with samples and friendly service.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide meat preparation services and assist customers at the counter.

Overview

The Meat Clerk II is responsible for providing meat preparation services for customers, filling the service counter and self‑service cases, and waiting on guests at the counter. The Meat Clerk II is expected to use meat operating tools and equipment up to 60% of the time.

In stores that feature a Smokehouse, this role assists the Smokehouse Manager by creating superior sausage and other smokehouse products. The Meat Clerk II is responsible for providing continuous delivery of exceptional guest service, ensuring superior quality and freshness of all meat, seafood and fresh smokehouse products, educating and assisting customers at the meat and seafood service counter, attracting guests by creating a fun and friendly atmosphere, actively engaging guests through freshly prepared product samples and suggestive selling, ensuring meat and seafood cases are fully stocked with product, and understanding all health, safety and sanitation regulations.
