Job summary

Tony's Fresh Market in Berwyn is seeking a Meat Clerk to join a fast-paced, multi-functional environment in our meat department. You will assist customers, wrap and stock items, and operate equipment like the wrapper, scale, and slicer while upholding safety and quality standards.

Starting pay is negotiable, with an hourly range of $15.00–$20.10. Benefits include medical, dental, vision and a 401(k) plan with employer matching; time in role and performance may influence pay in a cooperative team

Responsibilities

• Assist customers when applicable.

• Lift and load products up to 50 lbs.
• Clean and sanitize work stations and display cases.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

Meat Clerks are responsible for working in a fast-paced multi-functional environment alone or with other people in a cool/cold environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers when applicable
• Must work quickly and carefully while stocking/wrapping items at a reasonable expectancy
• Handle various raw meat products to wrap, price, and stock into display cases
• Operate meat department equipment such as auto wrapper, scale, slicer, etc.
• Lift and load product weighing up to 50lbs
• Sweep, clean up, and sanitize work stations as assigned by Meat Staff leader
• Clean display cases and fill supplies when needed
• Other duties as assigned

• Regularly required to stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk about the store.
• The work environment is typical of a retail store. The noise level ranges from quiet to loud.
• The store level varies from regular temperature to some cooler areas.
• Minimal sitting is required.

Store hours of operation: 7am-10pm 7 days a week

Starting pay is negotiable.

Disclaimer

Pay scale $15.00 - $20.10

The pay scale above is the hourly wage range that the Company reasonably expects to pay for this position. *Manager roles have a bonus target potential paid out quarterly based on company results/metrics.

Within this range, individual pay is determined by location and other factors including, but not limited to, specific skills, relevant work experience, and relevant education and/or training.
